Seaside Water Polo (formerly Carlsbad Girls Water Polo Club), was

founded in 2009. We are a year-round ALL GIRLS age group program, based in San Diego County. Seaside is the only all girls water polo club in San Diego County.

 

     We strive to develop well rounded student athletes who embody a tradition of excellence

in all facets of life: pool, classroom and community. We reinforce high self-esteem, self-discipline, physical fitness, and respect for others. We want all athletes to be confident, responsible and self-motivated and hold themselves to a higher standard,

all while having fun with their teammates.

 

     Focus is on the fundamental skills necessary to have success at any level of the game.

It is our philosophy that players with solid fundamentals will have the most success in the

long-term. We hope athletes will benefit from the opportunities water polo offers. Preparing

them to become great college student athletes if they so choose.

 

    Our coaching staff is made up of previous high school and college athletes, CIF and 

Junior Olympic Champions. We train at the City of Carlsbad Monroe Street Pool, Oceanside's Brooks Street, Marshall Street and The William A Wagner Aquatics Center. 

Participants are welcome to join at any time during a session, no experience necessary. 

We offer a one-week free trial to all athletes. We play against some of the best teams and 

attend top competitions. We offer training for the following levels:

     18U, 16U, 14U, 12U, 10U and Splashball (co-ed 7-10)

​

The age of an athlete on August 1st of the competition year determines the age group

the athlete is eligible to compete in. For example, if your child is 14 years old on August 1st,

she is considered 14 years old and will play in our 14U division.
